As it stands, a Canadian employer can make two types of job offers. These are the two types of employment as explained by Canadian Visa Expert:

• A Temporary Job Offer – This offer of employment lasts for a predetermined duration. For the work to be conducted in Canada, the foreign worker only needs a temporary work permit to start working in a temporary position.
• A Permanent Job Offer – Permanent job offers are offered to foreign workers for an indeterminate period of time. To work in these conditions, the foreign worker must have a Canadian immigration Visa.
